John Liston is a designer from San Francisco who makes furniture out of steel, brass, charred wood, and cast glass. 

After completing his BFA in Metalwork and Jewelry Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology, John joined Polich Art Works, where he worked on pieces for Frank Stella, Kiki Smith, and Louise Bourgeois. He’s also worked as the metal shop supervisor at The Berkeley Artworks Foundry and at John Lewis Glass.

John debuted his signature line at the American Craft Council Show in 2012, where his furniture collection won the Award of Excellence. Since then, he's shown at the Architectural Digest Design Show, Dwell on Design, ICFF, and WestEdge.
